In a well-organized essay, apply Socrates’ specific understanding of “wisdom” (from Plato’s Apology) to analyze and explain Oedipus’ hubris and eventual downfall (in Oedipus the King). Be sure to make specific references to both texts in answering this question. Do not rely on opinions or generalizations. Note it is not enough to simply introduce relevant quotes into your essay. You must explain how your quotes provide supporting evidence for your th‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌esis.
Use Times New Roman 12-point font, and include a works cited page. Use APA format

A minimum of two double-spaced pages. USE THE SOURCES IN THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT
This is a very broad question. You can take any angle you want on this question. The main goal is to analyze/examine
the two works in relation to each other in some way. For example, the response could compare and contrast themes,
characters, main ideas, etc. In addition, consider Sarah Schulman’s criticism of Rent and AIDS activism as you compare 4
and contrast the two texts.
The focus is on analysis. Organization, formatting, grammar and spelling will also be graded. Focus on a thoughtful
approach and analysis of the texts, ideas, issues, and the representation of AIDs and LGBTQ in the media.

Give your impressions of the usefulness of the
article. Give your reasons for your opinions. Write about your opinions of
the strengths and weaknesses of the article in separate paragraphs:
In your opinion, what were the strengths and weaknesses of the article? Be sure to think about your impressions and the reasons for them. Listing what the author wrote as limitations is not the same thing as forming your own opinions and justifying them to the reader.
Make an effort to go beyond commenting only about the organization and layout of the article.
Were the findings important to a reader?
Were the conclusions valid? Do you agree with the conclusions?
